The time frame of a website design project is often dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will make every effort to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new website is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client. For most projects, we try to work within the 4-6 week time-frame.
There are many different methods which can be used to update websites. The method you choose and the functionality we build into your website design is solely up to yourself and your budget restrictions. Of course, 3ative Arts is always available to help you with any future additions and changes you would like. We will be glad to advise you in discovering which method will suit your needs.
If you have a small website consisting of just a few pages and will only wish to make changes very infrequently, then usually it is more cost effective to simply ask 3ative Arts to carry out these changes for you on an hourly basis.
We also offer a yearly support contract. Sometimes clients’ needs grow beyond the basic content management which they can do on their own. Clients often foresee needing additional support to grow, make major changes, and add robust and dynamic features. For those constantly evolving clients, purchasing a yearly support contract is often times far more economical than paying for an hourly service when changes need to be made. With a 3ative Arts Support Contract you will be able to call upon the different divisions and resources of our firm for a plethora of services depending on what level of support you purchase.
All of our websites are created with search engines in mind and the website design is compliant with search engine guidelines. It is a good idea for your website to be re-evaluated in time as over a period of time the search engines do alter their rules and algorithms and you will want to be certain that your website is kept up to date and complies with new rules etc. To gain maximum visibility by the search engines, we highly recommend utilizing our comprehensive SEO services.
Yes! We specialize in building Mobile Sites and “Responsive Sites” which look strategically stunning on IPads, Smart Phones and other mobile devices. Almost all of our websites are fully-responsive and we highly recommend speaking to your project manager about Opting In for this feature. The term “responsive” means that when a website is viewed on a mobile device such as a tablet or smart phone the website shrinks down to the size of the device viewing it. This is important as more and more of your clients move to mobile devices as their primary means of connecting online.
Yes! You will receive custom email addresses with the domain of your website. The amount of addresses you receive depends on the hosting package you subscribe to. Your account manager at 3ative Arts will set up a maximum of 10 e-mail addresses and assist you with setting up software such as outlook with the proper settings. If you need more than 10 e-mail addresses set up, your account manager will train a member of your team in logging into your web host and setting up the additional e-mail addresses.
You have several hosting options! 3ative Arts can acquire hosting for you through one the many providers we work with. We will select the most advantageous provider based on the type of site we build for you, your sites server and bandwidth requirements and your companies hosting budget. You will be the sole owner of your hosting account and while we can service, maintain and manage it for, you will own it and any fees for hosting will be your responsibility to pay to the hosting provider. It is important that your business owns and controls your hosting account for legal and intellectual property reasons. We are very transparent about this and we feel businesses are empowered when they own their own hosting accounts. Beware of companies that “do everything for you” but retain ownership of your hosting account. In the web design industry we call this Taking Hosting Hostage and it’s not a practice we partake in. Hostage Hosting is not the same as offering in house hosting services, so please don’t misunderstand us there. We are talking about companies who set up hosting accounts for their clients and then retain legal ownership of that clients hosting account, effectively taking their clients website hostage. 3ative Arts will handle all your hosting requirements from start to finish and deliver to you a complete hosting solution by the time your website goes live. If you already have a hosting account or wish to obtain hosting yourself, no problem! We can set up your site via whoever you decide to purchase hosting through! However we encourage you to take advantage of our IT experts who are very skilled at selecting a hosting provider and helping you choose the server that best fits your needs.
If you already own a Domain Name then we will simply “Plug In” your new site to your already existing Domain Name. If you do not already own a Domain Name our marketing team has you covered! The 3ative Arts think tank of marketing experts will come up with strategic selections which best serve your business needs. We will develop a list of tactical options and work with you to select a Domain Name which best represents your business and is primed out of the box for Search Engine Optimization.
