4.) Provide A Link: If you’re going to provide a link, make sure you Bit.ly it so that you can track how may people are clicking through from Facebook.

5.) Mobile Friendly: Use simple imagery that will be easily seen on mobile devices as 70% of your fans will see the posts on their smart phone or tablet.

6.) Be Available: Post when the audience is listening, not just when your business is open. This will ensure more engagement from your audience.

Optimum Time To Post? This depends on your analytic data. Look at your FB analytics to see when your fan base is online the most. Strategically plan your posts to launch just as your fan base starts to peek in engagement. 

 

Twitter

twitter1.) Give a Call To Action: Give a clear call to action so that your readers know what you want them to do.

2.) Use Punctuation & Proper Grammar When Possible: But make sure you leave room for appropriate Hash tags. Without them your tweet won’t take flight!

3.) Shorten URLs: Bit.ly links generate the most retweets, so shorten all of your URLs

4.) Formatting: Use questions, facts, and figures to engage viewers and drive re-tweets.

5.) Mentions: Use mentions to prompt influencers to engage with you and then respond to them.

6.) Re-Tweet: Retweet relevant content for your audience but only as a supplement to your organic content. Don’t let re-tweets become your entire twitter strategy.

3.) Compelling Background: Use a compelling background that doesn’t take up more than 40% of your image.

4.) Personalize Your Brand: Add photos of employees, customers, and events to personalize your brand. (But not TOO many! Pins without faces actually get 23% more re-pins).

5.) Contests: Run contests such as Pin-It-To-Win-It contests to improve your brand visibility.

6.) Build Relationships: Build relationships with your followers by commenting and replying to comments.

Google +

2.) Tag Brands & People: If you tag brands and people in your posts they will get a notification and potentially engage with that post increasing your brand awareness.

3.) Trending Topics: Get involved with the “Hot Topics” to show your brand is keeping up with real-time events. This will also increase your brand’s visibility.

4.) Use Images: Using full sized images (800 x 600) will make your posts stand out on the page compared to tiny images and link thumbnails.

5.) Interact with Commenters:  Google + doesn’t have the most active users/brand fans so when you get comments, extend those conversations.

6.) Find Communities: Find relevant communities, engage and contribute in them, you’ll see an increase in engagement as you all have one thing in common…the community topic.
